Hirai Ken makes a few changes for his 30th single Candy. As opposed to his previous release, the hit cover album Ken's Bar 2, the four-track Candy is an original work. Also, the single represents a departure from Ken's usual R&B sound, with the titular track Candy being an uptempo dance number. The second track, Furusa Sai'da takes its title from an Arabic phrase meaning "nice to meet you", and even features Arabic influences in its arrangement.
