BoA U.S.A Debut! // Eat You Up (PV preview) 204_20080902142423-1

She's recording her first English album!

On August 29th, SM entertainment announced the launch of their American division, SM Entertainment USA. This follows YG and JYP's aspirations of bringing Korean artists into the American market, possibly moving BoA one step closer to USA's music industry.

One person cautiously said, "It is highly likely that there will be an official announcement as soon as discussions with BoA's Japanese management come along. BoA will delay her comeback in Korea to prepare for her advancement to America's market. The possibility of this being confirmed in September is high. They will announce it at least within this year and the chances for advancing towards America next year are quite high."

On the other hand, SM entertainment has consistently kept their mouth closed. One official said, "There is nothing yet to be revealed. Challenging the world's music industry, with her popularity established in Korea and Japan as her background, is a given basic strategy that hasn't changed."

Asia's Star, BoA is finally advancing into America.

A news conference "Best of Asia, Bring on America" will be held on 10th September in Seoul Paris Hotel, which will reveal the plan of BoA's advance into America.

The slogan "Best of Asia, Bring on America!" was made especially from BoA's initial - that BoA will be making the best advance into America.

This press conference will not only announce BoA's first step into the American market but awill also present the blueprint of her activities of her advance into the market.

On another hand, BoA's advance into America is viewed to cause a huge echo of response throughout the country and Asia. And will be much anticipated by music fans.

I have hopes for BoA's success in the States. Many have wondered whether she will make it big after Utada's rather flat debut. However I believe BoA's music is more mainstream and she is more versatile in her images compared to Utada
