Your favourite Ken songs?

Josuke created this subforum after my request, so I feel like it's about time to start writing something here, don't you think? And yeah, it's one of those typical "what's you favourite XXXXX?" questions. I usually don't like this kind of questions because I have a hard time chosing, but hey, this should bring up some talk here.

So, what are your favourite songs by Ken Hirai?

OK, I realized that I just can't choose, lol I tried to make a short list but I had to stop because it was getting way too long and I felt bad taking songs out. Sorry for asking something and not being able to answer properly

Anyway, I will go the lazy way and will use my last.fm Top 5!
- fake star
- Come Back
- Elegy
- Hitomi wo Tojite
- Kimi no Suki na Toko

Of course I can't deny I love each one of those songs but my last.fm only takes into account what I listen when i'm in the PC and not what i listen in my mp3 player; and also "fake star", "Elegy" and "Kimi..." all come out last year as singles (not to mention they are included in FAKIN' POP) and that's why they are that high in my list -specially KnSnT, I like the song but I would never mention it as one of favourite-. So somehow I feel like that list doesn't really reflect my "real" favourites... but hey, I think it's the best i can provide right now xD

Thanx LNany....this subforum will still so quiet if u don't start this. My favourite songs are.....it's hard to choose! I love all of his songs, ehm....but here is my list I guess
- gaining through losing (I love the lyric, the song is real good too. It just makes me want to survive anything)
- hitomi wo tojite (the only song which lyric I remember the most, truly a lovely song)
- kimi no sukina toko (one of the best cheerful song of Ken in my opinion)
- itsuka hanareru hi ga kitemo (just love it, don't know why)
- canvas (mostly, because it was used as the theme song of "Hachikuro" I can understand it better)
- kimi wa tomodachi (love the song, the lyric, and the PV. One of Ken's songs that can make me cry)
- etc......
That's it, I guess (again :lol!: )

I can make up my mind~

The best song is no doubt "EVEN IF"
Just love the piano piece and the flow of music.
He does fantastic live with that song too!
On the other hand...there is "CATCH BALL", but whatever, I am sticking with "EVEN IF"

i always remember my ridiculous and shameful memory when i was student. x(

I like all of the singles that he put out actually cos they're all unique in their own right

but in terms of the very 1st song I heard from him , it has to be Hitomi wo Tojite . If not I wouldn't be here lol

None, 'cause I like most of his songs especially his singles!

Since I don't understand any words in Japanese, his soothing voice is what I love most, such as in Omoi Ga Kasanaru Sonomae Ni, Kimi Wa Tomodachi, Canvas, Ookina Furudokei, Life is... Another Story, Itsuka Hanareru Hi ga Kite mo, etc.

I also adore him when his faithful to R&B, such as in Candy, Love Love Love, Fake Star, Come Back, Kimi wa Su.te.ki., etc.

I'm a pretty new fan of Ken's and it was his song "Praying for the Rain" that got me hooked,but I reserve final say until I have heard more of his songs which I plan on doing really soon.
